Why do
Televisions have a sharper and more dimensional picture when plugged into
Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™?
Today's television is probably one of the most complex loads an average
consumer will ever place on an AC line. The modern television, compared to
the older types, contains much more circuitry. If you consider what is
going on in the new televisions, you will understand why they benefit from
Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™.
A new full feature television is a very complex load. When the set is off,
(or in standby) as most of these newer sets resort to when they are turned
off, the only (?) circuitry operating is a small on-board computer, a
switched mode power supply and in some cases a few relays used to select
input functions. This alone can impose a signal upon the line. The power
supply is operating at minimum duty cycle; its switching pulses short in
duration. The computer has its clock operating and is waiting for the
commands. This provides at least two signals imposed upon the line. (So
much for the diligent audiophile who turns his television off during
serious listening!)
