Richard
Gray's POWER COMPANY™
looks and feels like a line conditioner, quenches line noise better than
most
line conditioners, yet unlike series type line conditioners, IT DOES NOT
restrict the dynamics when used properly with any amplifier regardless of
power rating.
Since it provides a
high current source of energy for power hungry transients required by
power amplifiers, it is important to demonstrate just how effective it can
be when installed in sufficient quantities, and matched appropriately to
components. You will be amazed how much better the sound and/or picture
becomes when you connect/star cluster one Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™
into another one, even while the system is playing.
Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™ is truly unique because it is one major
component which can be divided into smaller components for convenient
placement where needed within your system.
Important: Remove ALL Line Conditioners to maximize the performance
Of Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™ in your system. Since it contains an
acoustically and visually transparent, highly effective surge protection
system, there is no need to duplicate its function by adding devices which
add resistance to the line.
Recommended Usage:
MODEST AUDIO AND HOME THEATER SYSTEMS:
We have found that a single Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™ is very
effective in many smaller, low power audio (integrated amp/preamp,
receivers), and modest home theater systems. It has a quenching effect on
both the line noise and cross talk being produced from the interaction of
both your digital and analogue equipment.
Position your Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™ close to your wall AC outlet
and plug in all components directly into each Hubbell AC outlet on the
unit. If you have many components and require additional outlets, plug the
additional components into a high quality power strip. Plug the strip into
a remaining Hubbell outlet on the unit. Important: Plug your
components into the unit before plugging it into the wall.
LARGE HOME THEATER & OVERHEAD PROJECTION SYSTEMS:
A good rule of thumb is to dedicate one Hubbell AC outlet for each
component in the system. If you have more than 4 components, We suggest
using an additional Richard Gray's POWER Company™. It can either be
plugged into a more convenient wall outlet for the additional components,
or connected/star clustered into the initial Richard Gray's POWER
COMPANY™.Once all components are plugged into the same AC circuit, you will find
that multiple Richard Gray's POWER Company™ will have positive effect on
the systems total performance providing reduced noise, cross talk,
increased dynamics, better bass definition, increased perspective and
greater dimensionality of television image.
FOR ANY AUDIO SYSTEM:
In order to determine the best utilization of Richard Gray's POWER
COMPANY™ in your system, separate in your mind the front (source) end of
your components from the back (speaker) or amplifier end of the signal
path.
We recommend at least one Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™ at the source end
of your system, making sure to plug in ALL of your analogue and digital
components into the unit. If you have more components than available AC
outlets, plug the additional components into a high quality power strip
and then plug the strip into a remaining outlet on the unit. Important:
First plug your components into the unit before plugging it into the wall.
An alternative is to connect/star cluster more than one Richard Gray's
POWER COMPANY™ into another, in which case you can divide the components
into two or more units. If all components are plugged into the same AC
circuit, the Richard Gray's POWER COMPANYs™ will have cumulative effect on
the systems total performance.
Note:
It does not make a difference which component is plugged into which unit.
Since Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™ is in parallel with, not in series,
all components on the same AC circuit will benefit equally no matter where
they are plugged into the units.
We feel it
is far better to clean up the source end of your system before addressing
the amplifier end because whatever signal or noise, or lack of noise the
front end sends to your amplifier, your amplifier will reproduce what it
is given. Keep in mind that you are doubling the amount of high frequency
interference infused back on the AC line if you are using a DAC and a CD
transport. A dedicated unit on each of these components might be
worthwhile.
HIGH POWERED AMPLIFIERS AND QUALITY SINGLE ENDED AMPS:
This is where Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™ really breaks new ground
because it a high current source of energy for the hungriest power
transients required by even the largest power amplifiers. The larger the
amplifier, the more units should be cascaded incrementally within the
system for dramatic results.
Start off by dedicating one Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™ for each
amplifier and powered sub woofer. After 15 minutes (to 2 hours) of playing
your system, while the system is playing, plug in an additional unit, into
the unit already driving each amplifier and determine how you like it with
these additional units cascaded or star clustered into your system. Look
for increased dynamics, quieter background and better defined bass.
So many units sound like an over kill? Think about it, you might have paid
the same cost for your interconnects, loudspeaker wire and certainly for
at least one of your components. We prefer to think of Richard Gray's
POWER COMPANY™ as a total system approach to improving your audio and home
theater. With dealer assistance, you should audition them incrementally to
determine how many you want for your system. |
