To our
knowledge, Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™ is the only device that
provides high current on demand without limiting the dynamics of any
amplifier regardless of power rating or design!
Can you imagine that when, for example, a plucked violin or guitar string
from a CD or phono source goes to the preamp, and then to the output stage
of your amplifier seeking more power to reproduce this demanding
transient. The amps says,
"Hey guys, I'm doing the best I can, but without more power I can't really
reproduce this signal as accurately as you would like."
In this case what is truly needed is a Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™ in
the system to provide the needed transient power to satisfy the demand of
the music which is playing havoc on the system.
If you are using virtually any form of amplifier, preamp, CD player, phono
or tuner, your system fits this scenario! As your system works, it demands
power from the AC line. This imposes the electrical fingerprint of each
piece of equipment onto the line, as well as on each piece of equipment
interfering with its companion pieces.
This occurs on all forms of audio gear, from small headphone amplifiers as
well as the largest power amplifiers, tube or solid state. CD players are
especially prone to this problem. A lower priced CD player when plugged
into our product in many cases will outperform a more expensive one.
One's natural temptation is to rush to place a Richard Gray's POWER
COMPANY™ onto your mega power amp. Yes, you should hear a dramatic
improvement; however, the amplifier will now do a much better job of
reproducing the noise that is still being generated by the components in
the front-end of your system, that is until they too are powered by
Richard Gray's POWER COMPANY™.
We suggest that before you plug an amplifier into a Richard Gray's POWER
COMPANY™, evaluate it first on the front-end (Preamp, DAC, CD Player, CD
Transport, Phono) of your system, allowing everything to warm up for 15
minutes.
You might find it rewarding to star-cluster a second Richard Gray's POWER
COMPANY™ into the primary unit that is already powering your front-end
components. This further improvement will give you a window on what you
can expect once you dedicate one or more Richard Gray's POWER COMPANYs™ to
each amplifier (with powered woofer, powered sub-woofer, electrostatic
speaker).
It's all about power!
Whenever possible, and when the amplifiers are separated from each other,
located behind each speaker, perhaps on opposite sides of the room, it is
better to star-cluster 2 or more Richard Gray's POWER COMPANYs™ together
because each amplifier plugged into the combined system will benefit from
a doubling (2 units) or trippling (3 units) of thousands of watts of high
current on demand.
If you have a more modestly powered, single-ended amplifier, integrated
amplifier or receiver located in one convenient location with your source
components, it is better to star-cluster all equipment together into one
or more Richard Gray's POWER COMPANYs™ rather than having them plugged
into separate units.
