C-9 Floorstanding |
The flagship of the Connoisseur series is the C-9. Featuring three 6-1/2"
woofers in a tall, elegant enclosure, the C-9 is capable of awesome bass,
all in a sleek and small footprint. The stereo imaging is kept in check
by the incorporation of Energy's Tapered Crossover System. This directs
midrange frequencies only to the upper most woofer, and the other two woofers
are for low frequency support only. This as well as Interloc Bracing and
the dual baffle structure of MDF and Spherex front baffles provide a solid
enclosure, from which the high technology components can operate within.

C-7 Floorstanding |
The C-7 has a unique three woofer system designed to provide powerful bass
response in a tall slender enclosure. The thin profile provides great looks,
and easy room placement as the footprint of the cabinet is extremely compact.
The multiple woofer configuration provide powerful but most importantly
extremely fast bass response with accurate midrange reproduction, and very
wide dispersion properties, essential for accurate reproduction of music.
Like all Connoisseur models, the C-7 is magnetically shielded, and features
the unique magnetic grill system. The C-7 is front vented for easier room
placement. |

C-5 Floorstanding |
The C-5 is the first in a series of floor standing speakers in the Connoisseur
line. Designed to be affordable, yet they are capable of stunning musical
performances.
The dual 6-1/2" woofer configuration with the Energy Tapered 3-way
Crossover system in tandem with the 1" aluminum dome tweeter provide
the technology behind what you will hear. Deep bass, clear midrange and
distortion free treble response is the result.
The sound is powerful, detailed and the stereo imaging is spectacular. Available
in either the all new Canadian Maple finish, or traditional Black, the C-5

C-3 Bookshelf |
The C-3 is destined to become the audiophile's choice in the Connoisseur
series bookshelf models. Its small size lends itself perfectly to smaller
rooms looking for that special performance from your speaker system. The
C-3's cabinet is larger than the C-1, and includes a 6-1/2" woofer
providing enough bass for a completely satisfying audio experience.
With their unique magnetic grills and two choices in finish, the Connoisseur
C-3 is available today at your local Authorized Energy Speaker Systems retailer.
The C-3 can also be wall mounted using Energy's Macromount™ bracket

C-1
Bookshelf |
The C-1 represents a new standard in audio accuracy, detail, and quality
in its price range. The bookshelf design allows multiple placement options,
even near TV's as it is, like all Connoisseur models, magnetically shielded.
The front vented design allows integration into wall units and tight spaces
without degradation of the bass frequencies.
The C-1 can also be wall mounted using Energy's Macromount™ bracket
or placed on the matching C-ST stands. |

C-R3
Rear Channel |
Perfect Sound in a Less than Perfect Room
The C-R3 rear channel model adds the exclusive technology of Energy's Sound
Field Management to the Connoisseur Series. Once an exclusive technology
for the Veritas series, this feature allows the user to custom tune the
rear surround speaker for any audio application. The two controls allow
you to adjust the soundfield type from bi-pole (where the two side firing
midranges radiate in phase with each other), or di-pole (which changes the
phase of one of the midrange drivers so that they are out of phase with
each other). Additionally, the overall level of the effects from the side
drivers can be continuously adjusted with a volume control. The largest
benefit of the SFM system is that it allows the speaker placement to compensated
for when it is less than perfect. Its not always possible to mount the rear
channel speakers exactly where should be. But with the SFM system, you can
modify the output and ambience of each speaker individually to compensate
for different wall materials, placement, height differences, etc.
Simply the most flexible speaker available, the Energy Connoisseur C-R3's
are packaged individually for use in either 5.1, 6.1, or 7.1 systems, and

C-R1
Rear Channel |
The Bi-polar design of the C-R1 rear channel surround lends itself to many
different mounting arrangements to suit your room. The small cabinet size,
and shape enhances performance by directing the surround information towards
the rooms boundaries, and utilizing these boundaries as reflective surfaces.
The surround system will sound larger than life, and much more realistic
- closer to the goal of the true "theater" experience. |

C-C1
Center Channel |
The C-C1 is the matching center channel for any Connoisseur Series speaker.
The high powered dual 5-1/2" woofers and 1" aluminum dome tweeter
will provide clear and authentic center channel reproduction for your home
theater system.
The C-C1 is front vented which minimizes the problems of placing the
center speaker into cabinets and other tight spaces. Featuring the
unique magnetic grill system, and best in class Gold Plated oversized
Binding Post Terminals, the C-C1 is ready to perform.

C-C3
Center Channel |
The legendary Connoisseur Series from Energy Speaker Systems has added a new member of the family. Introducing the C-C3 multi-purpose speaker. The high performance C-C3 has been specifically designed to facilitate
many different installation options, as it can be positioned either horizontally
or vertically. It provides perfectly timbre matched left, center and right
front channel in home theater applications.
It is the flagship center channel of the Series and is recommended for use
with the larger Connoisseur floor standing models. Adding the timbre-matched
C-R1 or C-R3 rear surrounds will beautifully compliment your system.
The C-C3 is hand crafted in both Black Ash or Canadian Maple finishes. |

C-ST Speaker Stand |
The C-1 and C-3 bookshelf speakers deserve to sound
and look their best. The C-ST stand will provide the appropriate height
which the speaker will sound best with, as well as match the look
and style of the Connoisseur Series.
Standing 25" in height, they provide wire management via two
¾" clips on the rear of the aluminum center pole. The
base is manufactured from MDF and is finished in either black or Canadian
Maple vinyl. Spikes and rubber bump-ons are also supplied to facilitate
use on any type of flooring. |
